SEQUENCE AND CAUSE & EFFECT

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why do we have teacher added lessons in the OLS?
The OLS does not align to our state standards and this year teachers in elementary school are allowed to add lessons to the OLS that match the state pacing guide, standards and priority of the tested standards.

Why do some of the recordings not work?
Teachers worked really hard to make the recordings to address deficits in the OLS.  There have been some glitches with both blackboard and the OLS.  Some teacher errors have been made as well.  Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.  Going forward, videos and worksheets that you can print offline and have scripts will be included as teacher added lessons for Math.  However, prior recorded lessons will still be used for Science, History and Social Studies.
There will be additional resources provided as we have always done in the past and newsletters will be emailed for Science, History and Social Studies.

History Questions:
Is there a History Record Book?
As we have noticed, it mentions that it has a History Record book listed in the Materials.  We suggest that you use a notebook to record your online questions.

Also, some students are missing the Understanding Geography: Map Skills and our World.  It is titled Map skills in our world. If you see that you are missing this book from your shipment from K12, please put in a ticket saying that it was not sent.

Hardback and Softback Books:
Hardback books will be returned and softback (workbooks) are consumable and you can write about it.
